We are thrilled to announce the release of Solidus v4.4, a significant step forward in the evolution of our platform! This release brings substantial improvements to the admin interface, a new promotion system and compatibility with Rails 7.2.
Updates to the New Admin Interface
We completed the UI/UX for a lot of new pages in the new Admin. Still a lot of pages and flows to update, but things are coming along nicely!
If you get the chance to try the new SolidusAdmin, let us know what you think about it in the usual channels!
Rails 7.2 Compatibility
Solidus v4.4 is now fully compatible with Rails 7.2, ensuring that you can take advantage of the latest features and enhancements in the Ruby on Rails framework. Rails 8 on the radar now!
New Promotion System
Solidus 4.4 comes with a new promotion system, more flexible and offering more possiiblities in terms of promotions that can be created.
It is the default for new installations, but existing stores can opt-in for using it following the dedicated Upgrade Guide
