We are thrilled to announce the release of Solidus v4.4, a significant step forward in the evolution of our platform! This release brings substantial improvements to the admin interface, a new promotion system and compatibility with Rails 7.2.
Updates to the New Admin Interface
We completed the UI/UX for a lot of new pages in the new Admin. Still a lot of pages and flows to update, but things are coming along nicely!
If you get the chance to try the new SolidusAdmin, let us know what you think about it in the usual channels!
Rails 7.2 Compatibility
Solidus v4.4 is now fully compatible with Rails 7.2, ensuring that you can take advantage of the latest features and enhancements in the Ruby on Rails framework. Rails 8 on the radar now!
Supercharge your marketing with the new promotion system
Solidus 4.4 allows you for the first time to try out our brand new promotion system allowing more flexible promotions and dramatically increasing line item and cart calculation timings when applying multiple promotions to a an order.
Follow the dedicated upgrade guide to find out how you can migrate your installation. The legacy promotion system will be phased out and we advise to migrate at your earliest convenience.
